It's Monday already!

Boy, do the weekends fly by fast! Saturday morning the girls and I had cantata practice at church from 9-11:30am. The other 3 stayed home with dad and played outside for awhile while he split wood, then came in and played video games. Saturday afternoon, Jeremy went hunting out at the property and we got ready to go to Nana's for a visit with the Christopher's, Wehrli's, etc. The Christophers had come up from Indiana for the weekend for a visit. I made enchilada's for dinner before we left. Jeremy was going to meet me there, but when we arrived, he called and told me the car wouldn't start. We haven't had much luck with cars this year! In April, someone broadsided me in the Buick by running a stop sign. I had all the kids in the car and feel very fortunate no one got hurt. The buick was ugly, but still drivable until we bought a venture minivan in May. Very nice little van (1998) and fun to drive, more economical than the Suburban! Last week, however, discovered an oil leak and needs to have some major work done which is expensive as well. So, that is not drivable until we get the work done. So, he drove the buick and it ended up stalling out and wouldn't start. Now, back to one vehicle which isn't very fun when everyone has such a busy schedule! Thank goodness I am not working and can be the "taxi driver". Anyway, finally got everyone back to Nana's house and visited until 11pm or so and then back home to bed. Sunday morning was the kids' sunday school program at church and then our cantata at 11am. Everything went fine except we had a snowstorm during the night that dropped about 8 inches of snow! So we spent most of Sunday afternoon (Jeremy did) working on getting the plow on the tractor and getting the driveway plowed. The kids played outside after church for awhile and enjoyed the fresh snow thanks to Erin - she went to the hat/glove drawer and came back with nothing that matched on wanting to go outside to "snowman"! No school today so we have been laying around all morning, and now I'm trying to get motivated! I hope you have a great day - only 7 more days til Christmas as Isaac reminds me everyday!
